Protest European Boardstock 2007 Roundup

For the 6th year in a row, the French Wakeboard Association organized a massive 2007 edition for the already very famous Protest European Boardstock. Even though the weather forecast was worse than it should have been in such a season, almost 60 riders entered the event.

AFW Present the Protest European Boardstock

This year again, the French Wakeboard Association (AFW) present the 2007 Protest European Boardstock. The event will be held in Toulouse at Sesquières Cableway (South West of France) from the 24th to the 27th of May 2007. The prize money is getting bigger again this year with EUR 10 000* to be shared between the best riders in the Pro Men Cable, Kicker, Pool Gap, and Wakeskate contests

Hsbc Plan Spectacular Last Stop Of The 2006 Waterski & Wakeboard World Cup Series In Singapore

Following the drama and excitement of this year’s World Cup Stops in France, Qatar, Northern Ireland, China and Russia, the final points battle will take place this weekend on the crystal clear waters of Bedok Reservoir in downtown Singapore. The star studded line up of 32 male and female Wakeboard Riders from thirteen countries will compete for both the Singapore World Cup Stop cash prize of US$ 60,000 and also the 2006 International Water Ski Federation’s Wakeboard World Cup overall series titles.

The following riders have been lined up to ride at the Nokia Fise in Montpellier, France from the 12th July to the 16th July 2006.

TeamTige; rider and two-time Paris France World Cup champ, Cathy Williams won 1st place in the women's division of the Australian Pro-Tour. A long time promoter of women's wakeboarding, Williams became the first woman to clinch a title in this prestigious event.
