Sydney's Dean Smith won yesterday's opening round of ACT Wakeboard's cash showdown event in Canberra, Australia. Smith, a former podium finisher at World Wakeboard Association titles, won the capital's first cash contest on the Molonglo River ahead of fellow professional Chris O'Shea.
